A few years ago, as a company, we saw first-hand the real challenges of last-mile logistics in Chile. That is where we understood something crucial: optimising operations is not enough — you have to connect logistics capacity with the people who make it possible in a better way.
Druppify was born precisely for that: a platform that lets companies scale their operation with on-demand operational staff and fleet, quickly, reliably and efficiently. Today this model already powers demanding operations in the retail and consumer goodsindustry, where continuity and flexibility are not optional.
And this month we reached a milestone we are proud of: we are now more than 5,000 Druppers across Chile, driving thousands of jobs every day and bringing real flexibility to the country's logistics.
What is a Drupper?
A Drupper is a vetted person who provides operational services through the Druppify platform, when companies need them and where they need them. It is the answer to the structural problem of logistics staffing: operational demand fluctuates every day — e-commerce peaks, high seasons, unexpected absences — but fixed headcount cannot fluctuate with it.
The Drupper community covers the critical roles across the whole logistics chain:
- Picker: preparing and picking orders in store, dark store or distribution centre.
- Shopper: buying and assembling supermarket and consumer goods orders for e-commerce.
- Driver: drivers for dispatch and last-mile deliveries.
- Carrier: on-demand vehicles and fleet for distribution and home delivery.
- Warehouse operator: operational support in warehouses, loading bays and distribution centres.
And many more profiles joining as the ecosystem grows into new industries.
