We are glad to share that Druppify is part of ProChile Global X Asia, a programme aimed at driving the expansion of innovative companies into key markets across Asia.
From Chile, we continue to take our vision of smart logistics into new ecosystems, connecting technology, AI, automation and digitisation to optimise logistics operations in the field.
What is ProChile Global X Asia?
ProChile is the Chilean state agency responsible for promoting the internationalisation of Chilean companies worldwide. Its Global X Asia programme is designed for a specific company profile: those that export innovation and technology, and that have the potential to compete in the most demanding markets in Asia.
Taking part in the programme means having institutional support for the commercial landing, direct introductions to local counterparts — companies, accelerators, technology hubs and players in the logistics ecosystem — and a concrete working agenda on the ground. The starting point for this stage is Shenzhen, China: one of the world's capitals of technology and hardware innovation.
For Druppify, being selected is also a validation: our on-demand logistics operations platform now competes with global standards in mind, not just regional ones.
Why Asia, and why now
Asia is home to the most powerful and demanding last-mile and distribution ecosystems in the world. China alone moves more than 100 billion parcels a year, with dispatch windows measured in minutes, networks of pickup points and lockers densely woven into urban life, dark stores, drone and autonomous-vehicle deliveries operating at real scale, and a level of warehouse automation that sets the global benchmark.
Shenzhen in particular is a unique case: the city where technology design, prototyping and manufacturing all live in the same ecosystem. Much of the robotics, automated picking systems and logistics hardware the rest of the world will adopt over the coming years is being built and tested there today.
For a company whose purpose is to optimise field logistics operations, that context is not just an attractive market: it is the best possible laboratory. Being present where the last mile is reinvented daily lets us benchmark our model against the state of the art, absorb what we learn and anticipate the trends that will later reach Latin America.
The value of strategic partnerships
No one enters a market of this scale alone. That is why this step matters so much to us: building partnerships in a country where last-mile logistics and distribution are this strong means access to operational knowledge accumulated over years, to world-class technology suppliers and to commercial networks that would be impossible to build from a distance.
The right partner shortens the road. Concretely, what we want to build through these partnerships moves along four axes:
- Technology: access to world-class suppliers in picking robotics, intelligent lockers and pickup points, and warehouse automation systems that already operate at massive scale in Asia and that we can integrate into our platform.
- Market knowledge: local allies who know the regulation, the business culture and the day-to-day operation — the kind of knowledge you cannot learn remotely and that cuts years off the entry curve.
- Operational validation: benchmarking our on-demand operating model against real operations in the world's most demanding market, and bringing every lesson back into our platform.
- Commercial channels: opening the door for technology developed in Chile to reach new markets, as part of our internationalisation roadmap.
ProChile Global X Asia gives us exactly that framework: a programme designed so that innovative Chilean companies land in key Asian markets with institutional support, introductions to local counterparts and a concrete internationalisation roadmap.
No one enters a market of this scale alone. The right partnerships turn distance into an advantage: they let us learn where the last mile is reinvented daily.
What it means for our ecosystem
This is not an isolated milestone: it is part of the roadmap we already shared in The Druppify Effect, where internationalisation and delivery technologies — smart pickup, automation and picking robotics — are the next stage of Druppify's growth.
The impact reaches every player in our ecosystem:
- For logistics operators: the capabilities we bring back from the Asian ecosystem will translate into better tools for their operations — more automation, new delivery formats and ever deeper cargo traceability .
- For shippers: solutions such as our intelligent pickup points will evolve by drawing on the formats that are already part of urban life in Asia, bringing delivery closer to the end customer at lower cost.
- For our Drupper community: an ecosystem that keeps growing is an ecosystem that widens the opportunities to provide services, with the same transparency and respect for people that defines us.
Chile has shown it can export far more than raw materials: it can export technology and operating models. Taking an on-demand logistics platform born in Chile to talk as an equal with the world's most advanced logistics ecosystem is, for us, a statement of ambition and of confidence in what we have built.
One more step towards smart logistics in Asia. #DruppifyInAsia
